Wright Will Lead Programing For CREtech’s Two Flagship Events In 2024 In London and New York City

New York, NY (November 6, 2023) — CREtech, the leading global technology and sustainability conference company devoted to Reimagining the Built World, has announced that one of Europe’s leading journalists covering the real estate and tech sectors has joined CREtech to lead all content for the global conference company. As part of her responsibilities, Wright will be leading all content strategy and speaker selection for CREtech’s two flagship annual conferences in NYC and London. Additionally she will host a new podcast series covering the real estate technology and sustainability marketplace as well as serve as editor of CREtech’s monthly newsletter. 

Emily Wright is an award-winning real estate journalist with nearly twenty years experience reporting on the sector. She has been at EG, the UK’s leading real estate title, since 2012 where she was previously Tech Editor and has been Head of Content since 2020 focusing on technology and ESG. She freelances on tech, design and innovation for titles including WIRED and The Spaces and has been writing, podcasting and presenting on innovation since 2013. She has secured interviews with some of the biggest names in the world of property, technology and architecture including Sidewalk Labs founder Dan Doctoroff, the co-founder of Tesla, architects including Zaha Hadid, Richard Rogers and Norman Foster and Microsoft’s former head of smart places. She is a passionate advocate for change and progress within the industry.

Beginning with CREtech London taking place at Magazine London 8-9 May, 2024, Wright will curate a world-class lineup of experts who will share ideas on important industry themes and trends such as sustainability, AI, construction, tenant experience, flex, data as well as the reimagining of the office, multifamily, logistics, SFR, retail and housing space. Wright will lead the two day conference as the official Chair of the event and take the stage to interview the leading C-Suite executives and thought leaders from the real estate, technology, academia, government and technology sectors.
