Women in CREtech Makes Strong Debut at CREtech New York 2026

Inaugural initiative spotlights women founders and expands opportunities for collaboration as conference welcomes 3,000 leaders

(New York, NY) – October 29, 2026 – CREtech New York 2026 welcomed 3,000 commercial real estate and technology professionals to the Javits Center on October 20-21, marking the successful debut of Women in CREtech, a new initiative designed to advance women’s leadership, foster meaningful connections and create lasting opportunities across the industry.

Held under the theme “Real Estate in the Age of AI,” the two-day conference featured 150 speakers, over 1.4K participating companies and over 20K 1:1 meetings. Among this year’s highlights, Women in CREtech introduced dedicated programming focused on mentorship, collaboration and professional growth, including a networking lounge, women-only TableTalk discussions and opportunities for continued engagement through a year-round community.

A centerpiece of the initiative was the Innovation Stage discussion, “Women Founders in CREtech: Building, Leading and Scaling” facilitated by Maya Proser. The panel featured Calandra Cruickshank, President & CEO of StateBook International; Caren Maio, CEO of 100; Lisa Nickerson, CEO of Infinityy and Founder & CEO of Nickerson; and Minna Song, CEO of EliseAI. Together, the executives shared candid perspectives on entrepreneurship, raising capital, scaling businesses and navigating challenges as women leaders in commercial real estate and technology.

“The most valuable conversations happen when founders are willing to share the unfiltered realities of building a business, missteps and lessons learned along the way,” said Calandra Cruickshank, President & CEO of StateBook International. “Hearing those experiences reminds other founders that they’re not alone in their journeys. Sometimes, understanding what not to do can be just as valuable as knowing what works.”

The initiative debut reflects CREtech’s broader commitment to fostering an inclusive industry and creating opportunities for women to build relationships, exchange ideas and expand influence beyond the conference.

“The response to Women in CREtech reinforced something we’ve long believed: when we created more opportunities for women to connect, share experiences and lead, the entire industry benefits,” said Michael Beckerman, CEO of CREtech. “This year’s launch was an important step, but our vision extends well beyond the conference. We’re committed to building a lasting community that supports women founders, executives and innovators shaping the future of commercial real estate.”

Beyond Women in CREtech, the conference brought together leaders from organizations including IBM, CBRE, Prologis, BGO, Morgan Properties and Yardi to explore how artificial intelligence is transforming real estate investment, development and operations.

CREtech New York 2027 will be held on October 20-21, 2027, at the Javits Center and will focus on how AI and power are changing how they're built, operated and valued.
