JLL’s Andy Cvengros to Join CREtech New York 2026 Main Stage for Data Center Market Discussion

Speaker Announcement (23)

(New York, NY) – September 3, 2026 – CREtech, the world’s leading community of professionals devoted to technological and sustainable innovation in the built world, today announced that Andy Cvengros, Executive Managing Director and Co-Lead of Transaction Advisory within JLL’s Data Center Solutions practice, will take the Main Stage at CREtech New York 2026, taking place October 20–21 at the Javits Center in New York City.

Cvengros will participate in “The State of the Data Center Marketplace: Power, Capital, and the Race to Build,” a Main Stage discussion examining the forces reshaping one of commercial real estate’s most rapidly evolving asset classes.

With more than 20 years of experience in the data center sector, Cvengros advises hyperscale, AI/Neocloud and enterprise clients on site selection, colocation transactions and land acquisition and disposition for large-scale data center campuses. His work also focuses on power and land scarcity, portfolio strategy and geographic risk planning.

As artificial intelligence, cloud computing and enterprise demand accelerate the need for digital infrastructure, data centers have moved to the center of institutional investment, corporate real estate strategy and global infrastructure planning. At the same time, developers and occupiers are confronting major constraints around power availability, grid capacity, suitable land and sustainability requirements.

Moderated by Stephanie Yarbrough, Partner at DLA Piper, the session will bring together executives representing brokerage, corporate real estate, infrastructure and technology to discuss what is happening on the ground and what comes next for the sector.

Joining Cvengros on the panel will be:

  • Patrick Lynch, Executive Managing Director and Global Lead, CBRE
  • John Hawkins, Global Real Estate Lead, IBM
  • Kate Franko, Public Affairs Lead, Fluidstack

The discussion will explore why energy availability has emerged as one of the most significant constraints on data center development, where institutional capital is flowing, how site selection strategies are changing in response to grid limitations and how sustainability considerations are influencing the design and long-term value of data center assets.

Attendees will also hear the corporate perspective on what large enterprise occupiers require from data center infrastructure as AI and computing demands continue to grow.

Cvengros brings extensive experience advising multinational Fortune 500 organizations on global data center sourcing and site selection strategy, combining expertise in power and infrastructure with transaction execution. His data center market commentary has also been featured by national business and financial outlets including The New York Times, Bloomberg, Forbes, Fortune, TIME and The Wall Street Journal.

CREtech New York 2026 will bring together more than 3,000 real estate executives, technology companies, investors and industry leaders for two days of networking, dealmaking and conversations focused on the future of the built world, under this year’s theme, “Commercial Real Estate in the Age of AI.”
