New York, NY — June 18, 2026 — CREtech New York, the leading conference for commercial real estate innovation, AI, and the built world, today announced that Heather McGeory, Vice President of Energy and Sustainability at CoreWeave, will join the 2026 speaker lineup for CREtech New York, taking place October 20-21, 2026 at the Javits Center.
McGeory will speak on the Main Stage session “The State Of The Data Center Marketplace,” taking place October 21 at 9:10 AM, alongside leading voices from across the data center, real estate, and technology sectors, including Matt Landek, Global President, Data Centers and Critical Environments at JLL; Patrick Lynch, Executive Managing Director and Global Advisory Leadership at CBRE; and John Hawkins, Global Real Estate Data Center Lead at IBM.
As AI adoption accelerates across every industry, the demand for compute capacity is placing unprecedented pressure on power markets, infrastructure planning, sustainability strategy, and real estate development. Data centers are no longer just a technology story — they are now central to conversations around land use, energy procurement, grid reliability, capital allocation, and long-term growth across the built environment.
At CoreWeave, McGeory leads energy strategy and execution for one of the fastest-growing AI infrastructure platforms. Her work focuses on securing the power required to scale data centers, structuring long-term energy agreements, working with utilities and counterparties, and advancing clean energy strategies that support growth while addressing cost, carbon, and grid constraints.
Her perspective will bring critical insight to CREtech New York’s 2026 theme, Commercial Real Estate in the Age of AI, which explores how artificial intelligence is reshaping the industry’s most important business decisions — from capital flows and operations to sustainability, infrastructure, tenant experience, and performance optimization.
Prior to CoreWeave, McGeory held senior roles at Fifth Wall and the We Mean Business Coalition, where she advised global companies, investors, and coalitions on climate strategy, sustainable finance, and market development. Across her career, she has operated at the intersection of capital, policy, infrastructure, and sustainability — positioning her to speak directly to the opportunities and constraints defining the next chapter of the data center marketplace.
