YOUR STEP-BY-STEP GUIDE TO CRETECH MEETUP

Meetup Program
Participant Guide

20,000+ meetings facilitated
14 min per meeting
15 possible time slots
Double opt-in — both sides swipe right
Before you dive in…
CREtech Meetup is the industry's largest meetings program, and this guide walks through every task, deadline, and rule in the exact order you'll hit them. You'll do all of it in your CREtech account — either MyExperience on desktop (same login as registration) or the CREtech mobile app. Reminder emails come from donotreply.cretech26@eventpt.com — check spam first or email programs@cretech.com with any questions.

What is CREtech Meetup?
The meetings engine behind CREtech New York — every registered attendee gets access, whether or not you or your organization purchased meetings.
CREtech Meetup is the real estate industry's leading meetings program. We'll facilitate 20,000+ meetings — you ain't seen nothin' like it. You'll get to take part in as many 14-minute, double opt-in meetings as you'd like (both sides have to say yes), up to 15 time slots, limited only by your own availability and mutual interest. It's how you meet potential partners, uncover the newest startups, find new solutions for your organization, or make your next move — across dozens of use cases.
Open to all attendees
General Meetings
Pre-scheduled, double opt-in meetings with any other attendee, matched by mutual interest and AI-powered recommendations. Free peer-to-peer networking, available to everyone registered for CREtech New York — no purchase or application needed, just complete your profile below.
Buyers + Sponsors who purchased meetings
Hosted Meetings
Structured 1:1 meetings connecting Hosted Buyers (vetted real estate owners/operators, free for qualified participants) with technology & solution providers who purchased meeting access. Built around real buying intent, running on the same profile, request, and acceptance flow below.
This page walks through both tracks together, since General and Hosted Meetings share the same deadlines, screens, and rules. Anything that applies to only one side is called out as you go.
Who's who
Four roles show up in this guide. Most people are only one of them — find yours below.
General Attendee
Most people fall here.
Registered for CREtech New York, taking part in free General Meetings. Didn't purchase Hosted Meetings and aren't a vetted owner/operator? Ignore the other three roles — just follow "Everyone" steps.
Hosted Owner/Operator
A vetted real estate buyer — also called a "Hosted Buyer."
Takes part in Hosted Meetings with technology and solution providers. Often free to attend, with travel reimbursed, in exchange for completing a set number of meetings.
Meetings Rep
Takes the Hosted Meetings your org bought.
Named by an Org Admin to handle Hosted Meetings the organization purchased. Only exists at orgs — usually tech or solution providers — that bought meeting access.
Org Admin
Manages sign-up on behalf of company reps.
Handles action items for other people at their organization — completing profiles, requesting meetings, assigning Meetings Reps. Exists at any organization, buyer or sponsor side; a helper role stacked on top of whichever role they also hold themselves.
Not sure which one you are? If nobody told you your organization purchased Hosted Meetings, you're a General Attendee — read "Everyone," skip the rest.

Meetings Rep only exists at sponsor organizations that purchased Hosted Meetings. Org Admin can belong to any organization.

Fine print: The participant list is confidential — it can't be shared, downloaded, or used for anything beyond the program. You can't solicit participants outside the event (including people you're scheduled to meet) beyond what's explicitly permitted. An opt-in or meeting request within CREtech Meetup doesn't imply interest in anything outside it. Breaching this can mean removal from the program and being barred from future CREtech events.
🔧 Org Admin pro tips
Desktop only
Admin tasks require a desktop browser — the CREtech mobile app doesn't support them. If you're just handling your own action items, the CREtech mobile app works fine.
"Manage Participants & Roles" screen
  • Select which participants from your org you want to manage, then complete action items for them directly.
  • Add unregistered individuals as new Org Admins, or assign existing participants to the role.
Your org may mix roles
Your organization can include Hosted Owner/Operators, Meetings Reps (if you've purchased Hosted Meetings), and general participants, all at once. As Org Admin, you can act on behalf of any of them — check each role's required steps above.
Managing meeting requests
  • Open a managed participant's request screen in a new tab — it shows exactly what they'd see, and you can manage several people in parallel across tabs.
  • Bookmarks and Saved Lists work the same way as for regular participants.
  • If you're both a Meetings Rep and an Org Admin, you can share your Saved Lists with all Meetings Reps in your org (toggle it on when saving); shared lists show up under "Lists Shared With Me." Individual meeting requests can also be shared, but only between Meetings Reps.
  • A progress tooltip at the top of the screen tracks each managed participant against their recommended minimum requests.
From "Accept Meetings" onward
You can monitor (though not act on) your participants' meeting acceptances, additional meetings, final schedules, and feedback status.
