Lane Takes on the CRE Tech Market with CDMN

PRESS RELEASE December 21, 2015. FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE   Lane Takes on the CRE Tech Market with CDMN Toronto, ON Lane (w ww.joinlane.com)   will participate in the Canadian Digital Media Network’s (CDMN) Outbound Soft Landing Program as part of the winter 2016 cohort to help forge the partnerships and connections it needs for international expansion. Leveraging the Commercial Real Estate (CRE) ecosystem, Lane enables buildings and companies to communicate and engage with professionals, directly to their mobile devices. Up next on Lane’s roadmap is international expansion. Expanding into international markets, specifically the US, means that more buildings and companies will be exposed to what it means to work in a smart workplace. This opportunity will allow for us to make the right connections with strategic partners or potential investors. “The Soft Landing Program is going to help take Lane to the next level,” said Clinton Robinson, CEO at Lane. “Our objective is to take advantage of the many benefits of the program as well as CDMN’s international network.” CDMN’s Soft Landing Program helps mature startups and SMEs kickstart their international growth by helping them access a foreign market. For a period of up to three months, the participating company can take up residence in a partnered facility that provides the regional support required to help grow its business, as well as receiving up to $4,000 in travel and hotel costs. “The Soft Landing program has already resulted in millions of dollars in new business and investment for our participating companies and generated more than a 30x return on CDMN’s investment of funds and resources,” said Avvey Peters, CDMN’s Managing Director. “International expansion is more important than ever as a driver of wealth and job creation for the Canadian economy. Our success to date demonstrates the tremendous impact that even a modest investment in global business development can have.”   About Lane:   Cofounded by Clinton Robinson and Kofi Gyekye in 2014, Lane is SaaS software that creates a smart workplace; it leverages the Commercial Real Estate (CRE) ecosystem to enable buildings and their tenant companies to communicate and engage with urbanprofessionals, directly to their mobile devices.
