Swedish developer Annica Anas, CEO of Atrium Ljungberg, is leading the creation of the world's largest wooden city—Wood City—in southern Stockholm. Spanning 2.5 million sq ft, this groundbreaking project will include 7,000 office spaces, 2,000 homes, and an array of restaurants, shops, and public spaces by 2027. Designed to reduce the environmental footprint by 40%, Wood City promotes sustainability, faster construction, and improved well-being through the use of timber.

Anas hopes this initiative will inspire a new era of sustainable urban design and placemaking globally.
