MAD Architects has unveiled One River North, a 15-story apartment block in Denver that incorporates a canyon-inspired facade feature. Reflecting Colorado’s Rocky Mountains, the design includes a glass curtain wall with a massive opening revealing plaster elements resembling natural rock formations. The canyon runs vertically, integrating gardens, terraces, and water features. This biophilic approach is accentuated with region-specific plants and a rooftop pool, providing residents with a unique connection to nature within an urban environment.
