A recent study by Boldyn Networks reveals that connectivity, particularly Wi-Fi and cellular, has become a critical factor for business leaders when selecting commercial real estate. The report, "Location. Location. Connectivity.," surveyed over 2,000 leaders across the US and UK, finding that connectivity now surpasses price and amenities in leasing decisions. With 79% of US and 77% of UK leaders planning to move to new premises within five years, the emphasis on reliable connectivity is growing. The study also highlights that robust connectivity boosts productivity and that most respondents are willing to pay higher rents for better network infrastructure. The rise in smart building technology further underscores the need for strong connectivity, aligning with sustainability goals and evolving tenant expectations.
