China is embarking on an ambitious project to construct a colossal solar farm in space, set to span one kilometre in width. The groundbreaking initiative will utilize heavy-lift rockets to launch the massive structure into orbit, where it will continuously collect solar energy and transmit it back to Earth, marking a significant leap forward in renewable energy technology.

This project, highlighted in the latest edition of Dezeen Agenda, underscores China’s commitment to exploring new frontiers in clean energy. Alongside this, the newsletter also covered other notable developments, including a U.S. executive order aimed at promoting "beautiful federal civic architecture" and innovations like a home appliance that converts air into drinkable water.
