CREtech New York Announces Yardi CEO Robert Teel as Main Stage Speaker

Newly appointed CEO of one of the world’s largest real estate technology companies will address the future of the industry in the age of AI at CREtech New York

New York, NY — July 15, 2026 — CREtech New York, the leading real estate AI and innovation event, today announced that Robert Teel, Chief Executive Officer of Yardi, will speak on the Main Stage at CREtech New York 2026, taking place October 20–21 at the Javits Center in New York City.

Teel’s participation brings the leader of one of the real estate industry’s most influential technology companies to the CREtech New York stage at a pivotal moment for the built world. As owners, operators and investors accelerate their adoption of AI, automation and data-driven platforms, his perspective will offer attendees a firsthand look at how technology is reshaping real estate operations, investment management and long-term business strategy.

Founded in 1984, Yardi has grown into a global real estate software company with more than 9,000 professionals across over 40 offices worldwide. Teel was appointed CEO of Yardi in January 2026 after more than two decades with the company. He joined Yardi in 2003, initially working with multifamily clients, before spending 15 years leading the company’s Global Solutions business. In that role, he oversaw product direction, services and client relationships for investment management firms, international clients and commercial property owners.

Before joining Yardi, Teel was a consulting manager at Accenture, where he managed multinational enterprise systems and business process outsourcing initiatives for Fortune 100 organizations. He holds bachelor’s degrees in Management Information Systems and Finance from Florida State University.
