Teel’s participation brings the leader of one of the real estate industry’s most influential technology companies to the CREtech New York stage at a pivotal moment for the built world. As owners, operators and investors accelerate their adoption of AI, automation and data-driven platforms, his perspective will offer attendees a firsthand look at how technology is reshaping real estate operations, investment management and long-term business strategy. Founded in 1984, Yardi has grown into a global real estate software company with more than 9,000 professionals across over 40 offices worldwide. Its platforms support real estate organizations of all sizes across property management, investment management, asset performance, leasing, operations and data. Teel was appointed CEO of Yardi in January 2026 after more than two decades with the company. He joined Yardi in 2003, initially working with multifamily clients, before spending 15 years leading the company’s Global Solutions business. In that role, he oversaw product direction, services and client relationships for investment management firms, international clients and commercial property owners. Before joining Yardi, Teel was a consulting manager at Accenture, where he managed multinational enterprise systems and business process outsourcing initiatives for Fortune 100 organizations. He holds bachelor’s degrees in Management Information Systems and Finance from Florida State University. “Yardi is one of the most important and widely recognized technology companies in the global real estate industry, and having its CEO on our Main Stage is a major moment for CREtech New York,” said Michael Beckerman, CEO of CREtech. “Rob has spent more than two decades helping shape the technology used by owners, operators and investors around the world. As AI transforms every part of the real estate business, our audience will have an extraordinary opportunity to hear directly from the leader guiding Yardi into its next chapter.” Teel joins a growing lineup of C-suite real estate and technology leaders who will share how their organizations are responding to changing market conditions, deploying AI and modernizing the systems that power their businesses. CREtech New York 2026 will convene thousands of senior real estate executives, technology leaders, investors and solution providers for two days of executive-level programming, structured networking, pre-scheduled meetings and technology discovery focused on **commercial real estate in the age of AI**.
