CREtech New York Announces Multifamily Technology Leadership Session Featuring Waterton, Morgan Properties, Kennedy Wilson and ElevateOS

Panel Occupier

NEW YORK, N.Y., August 6, 2026 — CREtech, the leading global community of professionals devoted to technological and sustainable innovation in the built environment, today announced a new keynote-stage session for CREtech New York 2026, taking place October 20–21 at the Javits Center.

Titled “The Effective Tech Stack for Multifamily: From Operations to Resident Experience,” the session will take place on Tuesday, October 20, from 1:00 p.m. to 1:40 p.m. EDT.

Technology has become the operating backbone of multifamily real estate. Beyond supporting resident convenience, it now plays a central role in asset performance, operational efficiency and portfolio-wide decision-making. Yet as the number of point solutions continues to grow, owners and operators face an increasingly important question: What does an effective, integrated and scalable technology stack actually look like in practice?

Sponsored by ElevateOS, the session will bring together senior technology, operations, development and construction leaders from some of the industry’s most prominent multifamily organizations:

  • Devang Patel, Senior Vice President, Head of Technology, Morgan Properties
  • Doug Pearce, Executive Vice President, Information Technology, Waterton
  • Eric Cohen, Managing Director, Development and Construction, Kennedy Wilson
  • Konrad Koczwara, Founder and CEO, ElevateOS, serving as moderator

Together, the speakers will examine how leading multifamily organizations are selecting, integrating and scaling technology across large and diverse portfolios, from back-end operations to the resident-facing experience.

The discussion will explore how operators are consolidating point solutions into more unified technology ecosystems, where technology is generating the greatest operational efficiencies, and how digital tools are transforming communication, service delivery and resident satisfaction.

The panel will also address the relationship between development and long-term operations, including how technology decisions made during design and construction can influence asset performance from day one. Attendees will hear practical lessons from leaders currently implementing technology strategies across active multifamily portfolios, including what has delivered measurable value, where integration challenges remain and how organizations are preparing for continued innovation.

“As multifamily organizations adopt more technology, the conversation is shifting from individual solutions to the effectiveness of the entire ecosystem,” said Michael Beckerman, CEO of CREtech. “This session will give attendees a practical look at how major owners and operators are connecting technology decisions to operational outcomes, resident expectations and long-term asset performance.”

CREtech New York 2026 will bring together real estate owners, operators, occupiers, investors, technology companies and industry leaders to examine how artificial intelligence and emerging technologies are reshaping the built environment.
