**NEW YORK, NY, July 23, 2026** — CREtech today announced **“The State of the Data Center Marketplace: Power, Capital, and the Race to Build,”** a featured session at CREtech New York 2026, taking place October 20–21 at the Javits Center.

Sponsored by **DLA Piper**, the session will bring together senior leaders from JLL, CBRE, IBM and CoreWeave for a timely discussion on the forces transforming one of commercial real estate’s fastest-growing sectors.

Data centers have moved from a specialized asset class to the center of institutional investment, corporate strategy and global infrastructure planning. Demand driven by artificial intelligence, cloud computing and enterprise technology continues to accelerate, while power availability, grid capacity, site selection and sustainability are creating new limits on where and how quickly development can move forward.

The session will feature:

The panel will be moderated by **Stephanie Yarbrough, Partner at DLA Piper**, who will also deliver opening remarks to begin Day 2 of CREtech New York.

The discussion will examine what is happening across the market as developers, investors, occupiers and technology companies race to meet unprecedented demand.

Topics will include:

- Why power availability has become one of the biggest constraints on data center growth
- Where institutional capital is flowing and what is driving continued demand
- How grid limitations are changing site-selection strategies
