NEW YORK, NY — September 16, 2026 — CREtech, the world’s leading community of professionals devoted to technological and sustainable innovation in the real estate sector, today announced that Chris Blackman, Managing Director, Information Technology at Rose Associates, will speak at CREtech New York 2026, taking place October 20–21 at the Javits Center in New York City.

Blackman will join the session, “The Effective Tech Stack for Multifamily: From Operations to Resident Experience,” alongside:

  • Devang Patel, Head of Technology, Morgan Properties
  • Eric Cohen, Managing Director, Development & Construction, Kennedy Wilson
  • Chris Blackman, Managing Director, Information Technology, Rose Associates

The discussion will be moderated by Konrad Koczwara, CEO of ElevateOS, which is also sponsoring the session.

Technology has become a critical part of how multifamily organizations operate, manage assets and serve residents. But as the number of available platforms and point solutions continues to grow, owners and operators are increasingly focused on how to build technology ecosystems that work together across the entire organization.

The session will explore how leading multifamily organizations are approaching technology strategy across both back-end operations and the resident-facing experience. Panelists will discuss the challenges of integrating multiple systems, where technology is creating meaningful operational efficiencies, how digital tools are changing the resident experience and how technology decisions made during development can impact long-term asset performance.

Blackman brings extensive experience leading enterprise technology and digital transformation within major real estate organizations. At Rose Associates, one of New York City’s largest multifamily operators with more than 40,000 units under management, he leads technology initiatives spanning cybersecurity, cloud infrastructure, enterprise applications, data, automation and AI-driven tools.

His recent work has included the development of an enterprise AI strategy and internal AI assistant, modernization of IT service management, and deeper integration and automation across platforms including Yardi Voyager, SQL Server and Microsoft Power Platform.

“The Effective Tech Stack for Multifamily: From Operations to Resident Experience” will give attendees a practical look at how multifamily leaders are making technology decisions today, including what is working, where integration challenges remain and how organizations can create a more scalable technology foundation across their portfolios.

CREtech New York 2026 will bring together more than 3,000 real estate executives, technology leaders, investors and innovators for two days of networking, meetings, content and dealmaking centered around the future of commercial real estate.
