StackSource is heading to the Global MIPIM Startup Competition in Cannes, France after winning the Transaction category of the North American MIPIM Proptech Summit in New York.

StackSource provides a way for commercial real estate borrowers and mortgage brokers to connect virtually, managing the entire loan origination process from selection to secured financing. The company is currently in closed beta using live prototypes. Their financial technology platform recently finished the Barclays Techstars Accelerator program, one of nine companies selected from over 700 applicants for the 13-week program.

The company`s October MIPIM Protech Summit startup presentation consisted of a five minute pitch before an audience and local jury, followed by five minutes of questions and answers. They presented with two other finalists selected from a large pool of applications in the Transaction category.

"I shared during our pitch that we are to commercial financing what Hightower or VTS represent to commercial leasing: a centralized, collaborative workflow platform between brokers and property owners," said Tim Milazzo,  CEO & co-founder.

Both the New York summit and the MIPIM In Cannes is an opportunity for real estate start ups to engage with investors, real estate developers, financial companies, analysts, and more industry leaders. Over 23,000+ real estate professionals are expected to attend MIPIM Cannes. StackSource will compete against the to-be-announced winners from the London and Hong Kong Summits.

MetaProp NYC, a global real estate tech provider, is the organizer for the MIPIM Startup Competition 2017.  Other categories are Building and City. Winners will have a free shared booth at the MIPIM 2017 and inclusion in the event`s communication tools. They have automatic selection as a finalist for the MetaProp NYC 2017 real estate tech accelerator program in Silicon Valley.
