Terms & Conditions

These are the Terms & Conditions that apply to CREtech (the “Producer”) clients, hereafter referred to as “Attendee” or “Delegate,” attending events produced and presented by CREtech.

Payments

• If payment is required, all bookings made prior to the event must be paid in full to guarantee registration.
• Upon receiving payment, an email confirmation and receipt will be sent. A downloadable invoice will also be available through your registration confirmation email.
• Registrations without immediate payment will remain provisional. Payment must be processed at least seven (7) days prior to the event date, or the registration will be canceled.

Early Bird Rates

• To qualify for Early Bird rates or discounts, both booking and payment must be completed before the deadline specified in conference marketing materials.
• Discounts will not apply retroactively or to registrations made after the deadline.

Cancellation Policy

• Cancellations received in writing at least six (6) weeks prior to the event start date are eligible for a refund, less a 20% administrative fee.
• No refunds will be issued for cancellations made after this date.
• Substitutions are permitted up to one (1) week before the event date.
• If an attendee fails to cancel and does not attend, no refund or credit will be issued.
• In the event of postponement or a format change (e.g., from in-person to virtual), your registration will automatically transfer to the new date and format. If an event is canceled, a credit valid for up to 12 months will be issued, redeemable for another CREtech program of your choice.

Adjustment of Registration Fees

• CREtech reserves the right to review and adjust registration ticket types and fees if the information provided by the attendee is found to be misrepresented, false, or incorrect.
• Any fee adjustments will be charged directly to the payment method on file.

Speakers

• Views expressed by speakers are their own. CREtech shall not be liable for advice or opinions given during the conference or in associated materials.
• CREtech may use speaker names and presentation materials for event promotion.
• Sessions may be audio and/or video recorded, and recordings may be distributed or sold as part of conference materials.
• By participating, speakers and attendees consent to the use of their names, likenesses, and presentation materials for promotional purposes, unless they notify CREtech’s events team in writing before the event.

Consent to Contact

• By submitting registration details, attendees agree to allow CREtech and its associated companies to contact them regarding services and opportunities.
• Attendees who wish to opt out of communications should notify CREtech by emailing events@cretech.com.

• Unless explicitly stated on the registration form, CREtech will not share your email address with any sponsor, speaker, or attendee. Non-identifying details of registered attendees may be included in lists shared with sponsors and other attendees for networking purposes. To opt out, attendees must advise CREtech at the time of booking or follow procedures outlined in CREtech’s Privacy Policy.

Delegate Directory and Badge Scanning

• Registering for the event means you will be added to the Delegate Directory, where other registered delegates can view and contact you for networking purposes. You may opt out of being included in the Delegate Directory during registration or by contacting CREtech at events@cretech.com.
• Exhibitors and sponsors may request to scan your badge during the event. By consenting, they will receive your name, job title, company, and email address. Consent for badge scanning is optional and can be declined at any time during the event.

GDPR Compliance and Data Protection

• CREtech processes attendee data in compliance with GDPR. Data collected during registration is used for event management, networking, and marketing purposes as outlined in our Privacy Policy.
• Attendees have the following rights under GDPR:
  • The right to access their personal data and request a copy.
  • The right to rectify inaccuracies in their personal data.
  • The right to request deletion of their personal data where applicable.
  • The right to restrict or object to data processing.
  • The right to data portability.
• To exercise these rights or for any privacy-related inquiries, please contact events@cretech.com.
• Attendee data will be retained for up to 12 months after the event for follow-up communications and marketing, unless the attendee requests deletion sooner.

Websites & Links

• The CREtech conference website and related networking tools may link to third-party websites. CREtech takes no responsibility for the content or use of information on these websites.

Insurance

• Attendees are responsible for arranging their own insurance to cover any personal property loss, liability, or damage incurred during the conference. CREtech shall not be held liable for such losses.

Photographs and Media Usage

• CREtech reserves the right to use any photographs, video recordings, or publicity materials obtained during the event for promotional purposes.
• By attending, you grant CREtech the right to use your likeness in promotional materials without compensation.

Hotel, Meetings, and Hospitality Functions

• Attendees agree not to host any CREtech-branded functions in the venue or participating hotels without prior authorization from CREtech.

Conference Anti-Harassment Policy

CREtech is committed to providing a harassment-free experience for everyone, regardless of sex/gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, race, religion, national origin, age, disability, or any other protected class. Harassment in any form will not be tolerated. Violators may be sanctioned or expelled from the event without a refund.

Harassment Includes:

• Verbal comments targeting protected classes
• Sexual images or inappropriate content
• Deliberate intimidation, stalking, or following
• Harassing photography or recording
• Sustained disruption of sessions
• Inappropriate physical contact
• Unwelcome sexual attention
• Advocacy of or encouragement for any of the above behaviors

Enforcement

• Anyone asked to stop harassing behavior must comply immediately.
• CREtech reserves the right to take appropriate action to maintain a welcoming environment, including issuing warnings or expelling offenders without a refund.

Reporting

• If you feel unsafe or experience harassment, please report it immediately to CREtech staff or email events@cretech.com.
