David Energy, a Brooklyn-based startup focused on decarbonizing the power grid, has raised $23 million in Series A-1 funding. The company, led by co-founder and CEO James McGinniss, aims to transition the grid to clean energy within the next decade. David Energy provides small businesses and residential customers with clean energy and software tools to optimize usage and save money. The new funding, led by Cathay Innovation, will support expansion into new markets and enhance product development to address the evolving energy landscape.
