Savills Taps Sarah Dreyer to Lead Research, IT, and Digital Services

Dreyer will manage the firm’s digital strategy, data analytics, and technology platform across North America

NEW YORK (December 13, 2022) – Savills announces the promotion of Sarah Dreyer to executive vice president of information, technology, and digital strategy.

Dreyer will oversee the strategic direction, implementation, and execution of research, development, and enterprise IT functions across the Savills North American platform. She will work across departments to deploy best-in-class systems to capture key data flows that give Savills teams the edge needed to provide clients with timely information. She will continue to lead the firm’s Research and Data services team, Enterprise IT functions, and product development to advance firmwide digital strategies, including innovation within Savills portfolio and analytics visualization platform, Knowledge Cubed.

“Now more than ever, research and data are integral to any significant real estate decision,” said Savills North America President David Lipson. “It’s important to provide our clients with best-in-class technology solutions and information. Sarah is a true change agent with a critical eye and an unmatched ability to deliver the timely insights clients need to make informed decisions. We are thrilled to have her expand Savills digital platform while continuing to build our research and technology capabilities across North America.”

Dreyer joined Savills in 2017 and serves on the firm’s operations and future strategy boards. She leverages more than 18 years of experience in research, analytical, and client-servicing roles and has a background in business development, finance, and business management. She leads a team of more than 60 experts across research, data analytics and automation, GIS mapping, and technology product design, development, and delivery functions.

Dreyer succeeds Patrick McGrath, who was previously chief information officer. He was promoted to president, West, overseeing the operations for the firm’s offices in Arizona, California, Colorado, Utah, Washington, and Texas. Alongside McGrath, Savills elevated Janet Woods as president, East, responsible for Savills offices in Florida, Georgia, Illinois,  Massachusetts, Maryland, Michigan, Minnesota, Tennessee, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Virginia, and District of Columbia.

In July, Dreyer was named one of GlobeSt.’s women of influence in the Innovator category. She is active within numerous commercial real estate associations and charitable organizations and serves on the board of directors of the JDRF Mid-Atlantic chapter.
