Honeywell (Nasdaq: HON) today announced that Verdantix has named it to the independent research firm’s Green Quadrant – IoT Platforms for Smart Buildings 2022 report.

The Verdantix report highlights a market that consists of innovation driven by the need to meet expanding customer demand. The report states, “building IoT platform vendors are well-placed to tackle key use cases and generate value across real estate portfolios for the full range of building stakeholders, from C-suite executives and portfolio managers to building occupants.”*

According to the report, the decreasing costs of IoT sensors and solutions are driving the adoption of IoT for new building applications. Verdantix research indicates that 44% of firms expect to increase their spending on IoT platforms for buildings in 2022.
