What were you doing prior to your current role and why did you decide to enter the commercial real estate tech industry?

Granit Gjonbalaj: While I was running my own development company, I saw what WeWork was doing and wanted to be a part of the disruption it was causing.

Describe your role at your company and what your day-to-day looks like?

GG: I oversee our global real estate team. No day is the same here.

What are you most excited about that your company is currently doing in the commercial real estate tech sector?

GG: We're leveraging technology in ways that haven't been done before, whether it's in construction or on the data side, to push forward with our continued growth.

What is the most important trend you are paying attention to today in commercial real estate tech?

GG: The role that technology can play in real estate financing.

What startups are you particularly excited about?

GG: Honest Buildings.
