What do you usually do after you make a phone call?  Make a note or create an appointment?  Follow-up with an email?  Or is there just too much tapping and selecting involved to bother?

If you’re an Android user, you can automate after call activities with CallFlakes.  The app immediately pops up after each call (including missed calls) giving you six options:

One tap launches any of those functions so you can make notes, schedule appointments/calls or send an email right after the call.   Or use the Google search input box to look up something.

There’s also optional Facebook integration so if you’re receiving a call or calling a FB friend, you’ll see their FB profile/latest updates on screen.

The app is ad supported/includes a rewards program.  While the ads don’t usually get in the way, it’s something you might not want at all.  As usual with apps like these, you’re giving someone access to all your contacts.

If you’re an avid texter, this might not be for you since the option screen will pop up after every text, including missed ones, too.  There’s no option to turn it off for texting either.  In fact, most of the complaints about the app involved the SMS pop-ups.  Otherwise, the reviews were good, not so attractive design aside.  Since it’s free, you can give it a try to see if works for you.
